We’re been working towards our aim to create a community wind farm to support people and causes in our local area for a long time. Here’s a quick run down of everything that has gone towards getting us where we are today.
We are active supporters of the community energy movement throughout Scotland. In 2021, we commissioned a report from Orkney-based consultancy, Aquatera into the substantial local benefits of community energy development in comparison to private or corporate development. The report will be formally launched by Community Energy Scotland after the Scottish Parliament elections in May.
